I am walking in memory of my dear friend Trisha who we lost last year after a long battle with breast cancer and a sudden decline in her health. We lovingly remember her as our Peach with wings in honor of our high school punk band Psyco Peach where Trisha was our quiet and stunning bassist in our 4 person band of best friends who got each other through some of the most transformative and tumultuous times of our lives. 

I walk for the friends I know who are survivors and all of us who have been touched by breast cancer, which sadly is many. 

I walk to heal the past and pave the way for the future. 

Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
