Commitment Club Gold

Participants join Commitment Club Gold once they raise more than $20,000 lifetime for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day. Gold members will receive a Travel Ticket the following season. This means that if you passed the $20,000 mark by December 31, 2024, you will receive a Travel Ticket for the 2025 3-Day. If you pass the $20,000 mark by December 31, 2025, you will receive a Travel Ticket for the 2026 3-Day. 

If you pass the $20,000 mark between January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025, you will receive a Travel Ticket for the 2026 3-Day. If you have surpassed the Gold level and are in Commitment Club Platinum (raising $50,000+), you will also receive the Commitment Club Gold Travel Ticket.

A Commitment Club Gold Travel Ticket provides one free roundtrip coach airfare* from the major airport closest to your home to the major airport closest to the 3-Day location.If you raise $5,000+ this year for a 3-Day, you’ll get a special travel reward that includes a Thursday night hotel stay along with your round-trip airfare.

*Important notes on the details of this offer:

  • For those eligible for the 2025 Travel Ticket, Walkers (including 3-Day, 2-Day and 1-Day Walkers) must raise at least $2,300 and crew members must raise at least $750 no later than the deadline below.
    • Denver: June 19, 2025
    • New England: July 8, 2025
    • Dallas/Fort Worth: September 11, 2025
    • San Diego: October 2, 2025
  • The Travel Ticket is good for a roundtrip flight to and from one 2025 3-Day event.
  • This offer is only good for travel within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.
  • Travel will not be provided from locations less than 200 miles from the 3-Day event site.
  • Air travel must be coordinated through the 3-Day’s travel system, Egencia. Flights booked independently will not be reimbursed.
  • The travel voucher is not valid for other forms of transportation (such as train or bus travel, ride shares or car mileage). Checked baggage fees, change fees or seat assignment fees are not included, and are the responsibility of the participant.
  • This offer is non-transferable and cannot be gifted to another participant or redeemed for cash.
  • Personal airline reward points cannot be used for or toward this travel voucher.
  • Participants who are eligible for multiple travel tickets (The Commitment Club Gold reward and the $5000 fundraiser reward) and are registered for multiple 3-Day events may use each travel ticket they have earned, provided they meet the individual fundraising requirements for those travel tickets.
  • Susan G. Komen, and its partners and vendors, are not responsible for any loss, accident, damage, delay or injury to you or your traveling companions, nor for any consequential damages, that may arise out of or during your scheduled travel, whether or not resulting from an act, omission, negligence or default of any company or person engaged in organizing or supplying your travel. Komen retains full discretion in coverage of travel costs and may discontinue or alter the promotion at any time.
  • Participants must be 18+ by the date of travel OR between ages 13-17 and accompanied by a parent/guardian or designated adult chaperone who is a registered participant. The accompanying adult must either qualify independently for the $5000 Reward Travel Ticket or pay for their own travel. Youth participants must share their hotel room with their parent/guardian or designated adult chaperone.

How will I book travel?
Starting in 2025, all travel bookings will be made through our trusted vendor, Egencia. This easy-to-use platform allows you to choose your preferred flights with just a few clicks, offering a seamless experience similar to booking personal travel. Best of all, you won’t need to use your personal credit card, 3-Day will handle payments directly. Egencia also provides flexible options to suit your schedule and preferences. Do I have to claim this flight benefit?
No. While we are happy to offer this to our dedicated fundraisers, anyone can decline their flight benefit. Please mark that in the survey which will be sent to you via email.

Can I transfer my flight reward to a teammate or family member if I’m unable to participate?
No. Only the participant who has earned the reward may use the plane ticket. It is non-transferable.

Once I meet my fundraising requirement, how long will it be before I can book my travel?
Beginning in May you’ll hear from us and from our vendor Egencia, after reaching your fundraising minimum ($2,300 walkers ; $750 for crew members)

What are my options for the dates of my flights?
The window for booking flights is up to 14 days before the event and depart up to 7 days post event. You can choose whichever day you would like. In order to be cost-effective and continue to return as much as we can to the cause, we cannot book flights outside of that window.

What should I do if my plans change after I’ve already received my ticket?
If your plans change, you can easily modify your flight directly through your carrier or airline. Keep in mind that you may be subject to price differences or change fees imposed by the airline. Always review the airline’s specific policies regarding changes or cancellations to understand any potential fees. To request cancellations or for additional support, please contact travel@the3day.org.

My flight times were changed! What should I do?
Just as when you book travel for yourself, the airline may make changes to flights that are booked by the 3-Day. Please call the airline or look at your itinerary online the week prior to your travel dates to confirm your flight details.
The easiest way to keep track of your flight changes is to become a member of your airline's frequent flier account. In that account, you can add your trip and get notified of any changes to the schedule as they happen. If the airline changes are too drastic and will not work for your 3-Day event travel, please contact the 3-Day travel team at travel@the3day.org

What if I do not participate in the 3-Day event? Can I still use my ticket?
No. If you do not attend the 3-Day or the event is cancelled, your ticket is void. The tickets are not transferrable to travel outside of a 3-Day event.
