Participants earn a travel ticket reward once they raise more than $5,000 for a 2024 Susan G. Komen 3-Day.
This reward includes one free roundtrip coach airfare* from the major airport closest to your home to the major airport closest to the 3-Day location, plus a one-night hotel stay (Thursday night before the event for 3-Day walkers or crew, Friday night for 2-Day walkers, Saturday night for 1-Day walkers).

What does the offer include?

Are there any deadlines for this offer?
You must have at least $5,000 in your fundraising account no later than the deadline below.
For us to book your flight, you must complete an airfare preferences providing your travel preferences no later than the deadline below.
Do I have to claim this flight benefit?
No. While we are happy to offer this to our dedicated fundraisers, anyone can decline their flight benefit. Please contact your coach to let them know you are declining, so we won’t continue to contact you about it.
Can I transfer my reward to a teammate or family member if I’m unable to participate?
No. Only the participant who has earned the reward may use the travel ticket. It is non-transferable.
With which airline will the 3-Day be booking my ticket?
The 3-Day travel partner doesn’t use one specific airline. Using the date and timeframe preferences you provide, our travel partner will book your flight using the most cost-effective option.
Once I meet my fundraising requirement, how long will it be before I can submit my air travel preferences?
You will receive a link to submit your travel preferences within 10 days of reaching the fundraising requirement. These emails will start going out in early June.
What are my options for the dates of my flights?
The window for booking flights is from the Friday prior to the event until the Tuesday following the event. You can choose whichever day you would like. In order to be cost-effective and continue to return as much as we can to the cause, we cannot book flights outside of that window.
If I select the earliest timeframe of 6:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., might I actually be booked on a 6:00 a.m. flight?
Yes! Please take into account the need to arrive at the airport a minimum of one hour prior to your flight.
If I select the time frame of 6:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. might I actually be booked on a red-eye?
Yes! Please take into account time zone changes when you make your selection.
Are any additional notes I add to the Special Requests field in my flight preferences form taken into account?
Yes. If you have a specific need relative to your departure time, please add a note under Special Requests. Please carefully read and follow the instructions included in the form.
Once I submit my travel preferences, how long will it be before I receive my final itinerary?
It can take three weeks to receive your final itinerary.
Who should I contact if I need to change my air travel preferences after they’ve already been submitted?
Once your preferences have been submitted, they are considered final and the booking process may be under way. If you have extenuating circumstances that require a change, and you have not yet received your final itinerary, please contact your 3-Day coach. Once you receive your flight itinerary, it is final. For any additional information and/or minor modifications such as seat changes, upgrade requests, baggage allowance policies please reference the airline’s app or airline’s website. If there are extenuating circumstances and changes still need to be made to your confirmed flight, please contact the 3-Day travel team at 3DayTravel@event360.com. Please note: you will be subject to a $49 change fee and also responsible for any difference in the airfare price.
I need to book a matching flight for someone who is not being booked by the 3-Day. How can we ensure that we’re on the same flights?
We can’t ensure this. However, there are a few things that will help increase the chances. By meeting your fundraising requirement early in the process, there will be more flight options to select from. We would advise that you wait until you receive your own itinerary and then book the matching ticket. If the ticket for your travel partner is purchased first, we can’t guarantee that there will be remaining seats on the same flight or that those seats allow us to be cost-conscious. You are welcome to suggest an airline name and flight departure time in the Special Requests box on your airfare preferences form. If we are unable to meet your request, you will be contacted by a member of the 3-Day travel team.
I want to travel on a specific airline and on specific flights. How will the 3-Day accommodate my preferences?
We can’t accommodate specific airline and flight preferences. The 3-Day offer includes a free roundtrip coach airline ticket from the major city nearest you to the 3-Day host city. Using the dates and timeframes you select, the 3-Day will purchase the most cost-effective flights that meet your preferences. The 3-Day travel partner does not book with one specific airline. You may include your flight preference information in the Special Requests space provided, so that those flights can be considered along with other options. However, we cannot guarantee your placement on a specific airline or a specific flight.
What should I do if my plans change after I’ve already received my ticket?

My flight times were changed! What should I do?
Just as when you book travel for yourself, the airline may make changes to flights that are booked by the 3-Day. Please call the airline or look at your itinerary online the week prior to your travel dates to confirm your flight details.
The easiest way to keep track of your flight changes is to become a member of your airline's frequent flier account. In that account, you can add your trip and get notified of any changes to the schedule as they happen. If the airline changes are too drastic and will not work for your 3 Day event travel, please contact the 3-Day travel team at 3DayTravel@event360.com.
What if I do not participate in the 3-Day event? Can I still use my ticket?
No. If you do not attend the 3-Day or the event is cancelled, your ticket is void. The tickets are not transferrable to travel outside of a 3-Day event.
Does the 3-Day book my hotel room for me?
No. You will need to make your own reservations via the 3-Day hotel reservations portal. A credit card number will be collected upon making the reservation, however, the cost of one night of your hotel stay will be removed from the bill prior to checkout.
Can I choose which night I want my hotel room for?
No. For 3-Day Walkers and crew members, this must be a Thursday night hotel room. For 2-Day Walkers, this must be a Friday night hotel room. For 1-Day Walkers, this must be a Saturday night hotel room.
Does it matter which room type I select?
No. You may select from any room types available in the host hotel room options.
May I invite other people to share my hotel room with me?
Yes. Your Thursday night hotel room reservation is your own, and you may share the room with others if you wish.
I am bringing a personal vehicle and the hotel information outlines parking fees. Do I have to pay for those?
Yes. Your Travel Ticket does not include parking fees for personal vehicles.
I have some questions about my reservation, but the hotel doesn’t have my reservation in their system. I have a confirmation number, why don’t they have it?
When you book through the 3-Day travel portal link, the reservation is made through the 3-Day travel partner and not directly with the hotel. The hotel will not have your reservation details until the week of your event.
As I’m making my reservation, I’m being asked for a credit card number. Will my card be charged?
You will need to provide a credit card number to complete your reservation. This card number will be held on file to secure the reservation. If you don’t use your reservation and fail to cancel it far enough in advance, your card may be charged for one room night plus tax. A credit card will be required at the time of check in for incidentals and any room nights not covered by the 3-Day (requirements may vary by hotel). If you do use your reservation, the room night you have earned as part of your travel reward will be deducted from your bill prior to checkout.
If I share a room with another person who earned the reward, can we have two nights paid?
No. Only one night hotel room will be covered. For 3-Day walkers and crew members, this must be a Thursday night hotel room. For 2-Day walkers, this must be a Friday night hotel room. For 1-Day walkers, this must be a Saturday night hotel room.
Can I transfer my room to a teammate if I am unable to participate?
No. Only the participant who has earned the reward may use the hotel stay.
