Host Hotel

Our camp host hotels sold out in record time this year with no additional rooms available to expand our room block.

If you choose not to camp, you are responsible for finding your own accommodations.

Shuttles

  • Shuttle tickets are not included with your hotel booking this year and must be purchased separately here.
  • There is no charge for the shuttle to Opening Ceremony in Del Mar on Friday morning from a host hotel.
  • Hotel shuttle times will be posted at the Host Hotel and available upon check-in.

Shuttle Policies

  • You must have a pass to board a shuttle bus.
  • Event shuttles go to/from the Host Hotels and 3-Day event sites only. No stops outside of those locations will be serviced. Hotel shuttle times will be posted at the Host Hotel and available upon check-in.
  • Host Hotel shuttles are for event participants only. Shuttles will not transfer friends/family to and from event sites.
  • Participants will be responsible for loading/unloading all luggage/gear and personal belongings. Shuttle buses cannot accommodate bicycles.

Opening Ceremony

Schedule for the Day:
5:45 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. Walkers arrive. (Crew members: check with your captain for your arrival time.)
7:00 a.m. Opening Ceremony begins

Credential Pick Up for 3-Day Walkers:

If you complete Online Check In and meet your fundraising minimum:

  • By October 2, your credential will be mailed to the address you indicated during the Personal Info step.
  • Before November 10, go to the Credential Pick Up area on Friday morning before the Opening Ceremony to get your credential.
  • After November 10, go to the Late Check in area on Friday morning before the Opening Ceremony.
  • Please allow extra time as there may be a line.

Credential Pick Up for 2-Day, 1-Day Walkers and Crew:

  • You will pick up your credential at camp. See check in options for 1-Day and 2-Day Walkers below.
  • Crew members will pick up their credential at Crew Day on Thursday. Check with your crew captain for meeting time.

1-Day Walkers

Check-In times:
11/15 - 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
11/16 - 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

On Saturday night at the 3-Day, we hold a special ceremony to honor and celebrate the people we are walking for. We invite you to attend this moving, inspiring ceremony—you won’t want to miss it. It’s a wonderful way to start your 3-Day journey and will give you a chance to be with the rest of the 3-Day community.

The Honor Ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. If you’d like to attend this ceremony, please come to Crown Point Shores between 4:00 p.m. 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and follow posted signage to the 1-Day Walker check-in area. Dinner is served between 4:30 p.m. 7:30 p.m. You are welcome to spend the night with us in our outdoor camp. (Please complete online check-in before November 10 so we know to reserve a tent spot in camp for you.)

If you didn’t check in on Saturday, arrive at Crown Point Shores on Sunday morning to check in between 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. At check-in, you’ll receive your 3-Day credential, lanyard and legacy pin.

2-Day Walkers

Check-In Times:
11/14 - 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
11/15 - 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.

2-Day Walkers are invited to camp out on Friday and/or Saturday night. You will also have two check-in options: Friday between 4:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. outside the 3-Day Command Center or Saturday morning between 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. At check-in, you’ll receive your 3-Day credential, lanyard and legacy pin and, should you choose to camp with us, a tent assignment.

Finish Line Festival & Closing Ceremony

The Finish Line Festival will open to participants and spectators at 12:00 p.m., when we will begin to welcome home the walkers and crew from their 3-Day weekend. The Closing Ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. If you would like to see the Closing Ceremony, please ensure that you are there between 3:00 p.m. — 3:30 p.m.

We encourage spectators, friends and family to join you at the festival to celebrate.
