Send a Letter

Getting mail on event can provide a big boost to a participant’s spirits. Take a few minutes to write a note which will brighten their Komen 3-Day experience! We’ll have a P.O. Box open for two months before the event. Send your letters, and we’ll bring them to camp for the participant to pick up.

Sweet Treats and Slide Show Shout Outs

For a $10 donation, the 3-Day will put together a custom notecard with your personal message, along with a custom 3-Day chocolate medallion, for the participant to pick up at the 3-Day Lounge on Friday or Saturday evening. For a $15 donation, we will put your message (limit 150 characters) up on our Video Wall at camp for everyone to see. This message will be displayed several times throughout the weekend for your 3-Day walker to see your support. Click here for details.

We need volunteers to help at Closing. Click here to sign up to volunteer.

Public Cheering Stations

Public cheering stations are a great way to show your support along the route. Create banners, hold up signs, bring some music and spread the love—anything to make them smile, stay energized and keep walking.

All spectators, whether at a public or private cheering stations, should wear a face covering when unable to socially distance 6 feet from all other people. If handing out food or drinks, please make sure all items are individually wrapped.

On some portions of the route you may find areas that are deemed “quiet zones” which will be indicated by signage on the route. Please assist us in respecting our neighborhoods and communities during this time.

This could be as early as 3:30 p.m. or as late as 4:30 p.m. If you would like to see the Closing Ceremony, please ensure that you are there by 3:00 p.m.

We encourage spectators, friends and family to bring your pop-ups, shade tents, chairs and coolers to cheer the walkers in off the route. However, NO alcohol is allowed on county park grounds. We will have a designated area for pop-ups that is very close to the walk-in arch for the festival. In order to allow everyone to see the ceremony, please do not set up pop-up tents near the stage or viewing area.
