As many of you know, breast cancer has affected many people in my family, including my mom and my aunt.

This year I have applied to join the Youth Corps team during the 3Day Breast Cancer Walk in San Diego, November 14-16. 

I am thrilled to have been selected to volunteer.  Along with volunteering for this event, I have also committed to raise $8,000 to help find a cure to end Breast Cancer.  My hope is to bring more awareness to this horrible disease.

Youth Corps is a select group of young people (10–16 years old) who participate as crew members at the event. Youth Corps members will attend the entire Komen 3-Day event, including training sessions on the Thursday before the event, sleep overnight for two nights and complete a multitude of important tasks
both on the route and in camp.
