I am thrilled to have reached, and surpassed, my goal of $7500. I now have $7585 in fundraising support for the 2025 Susan G. Komen New England 3-Day event. I wonder if I can reach $8000?!
It's not quite a month since I walked 15 miles in Boston on Sunday, August 17. It was amazing, and HOT. But the members of the ElitebEASTs team, captained by the fabulous Catie Fauvelle, shared many smiles! and stories along the way, and some ice-cream!
I am already thinking about the 2026 event ... and planning on doing 2 days!
With National Breast Cancer Awareness Month just around the corner in October, I am still looking for donations - all $ levels are appreciated! Example: a $50 donation could cover transportation assistance for travel to screening, diagnostic or treatment appointments.
Walking in Boston, on flat streets or doing hill-work, I was never alone. It was hard but not as hard as breast cancer - not as hard as chemo - not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan - and not as hard as saying goodbye. And that?s why I walked, and I will again in 2026!
Thank you for your support!
Most sincerely,
Linda
