This year I am committed to an incredible challenge. I'll be walking 20 miles on the final day of The Susan G. Komen New England 3-Day in Boston taking place in mid-August. 

With my background of half-marathons (and a couple of full marathons) I feel I will be prepared but, yes, it will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. 

That’s why I’m walking with the ElitebEASTs team and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
