Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. You have been there for me with your donations and support, and I am asking you to donate again because the battle continues. One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
There are more than 3.8 million survivors and people living with breast cancer in the U.S. However, improvements in early detection and treatment contributed to a 42 percent decline in the breast cancer death rate in the U.S. between 1989-2019.
The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. In 2024, I had an amazing experience participating in this event in Boston and met so many wonderful friends along the way. I was the Top Crew Fundraiser in Boston in 2024, and hope to accomplish this in 2025!! This will be my 8th year crewing, and my 18th year participating in this amazing event! In 2025, I will be heading to Boston to Crew at the 3-Day for the fourth time, plus I will be walking one day in San Diego!!
Komen has a Bold Goal – to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50% in the U.S. by 2026. That’s why I’m crewing and raising money – to make that goal a reality. I hope that you'll share this incredible adventure with me - by supporting my fundraising efforts to end breast cancer forever.
