Dear Friends and Family,

        I am excited to share that I will be participating in the incredible Susan G. Komen 2-Day, 40-mile walk. This event takes place on the weekend of my 45th birthday and is especially meaningful to me as I reflect on my recent journey through a mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation and now hormone therapy.  These experiences have been incredibly challenging, and I know that my battle with cancer may never fully end. However, I am filled with gratitude for the support I’ve received and want to help others who are facing similar struggles. 

       The Susan G. Komen walk aims to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research, treatment, and support programs. By walking, we honor those affected by breast cancer, promote education about the disease, and advocate for better access to care.
