Will you help make a difference?
Hello Friends,
When someone hears the words "you have Breast Cancer" the first thing they think is why me? Then they wonder how they are going to navigate their way through it.
Susan G Komen is here to help. Not only are they leading the way in research. They are also leading the way in education, in providing mammograms, and helping with daily needs.
There may be more people getting diagnosed, but that's because people are doing their monthly self-exams, getting mammograms and advocating for themselves. Because of these things people are getting diagnosed earlier, which means a better chance of survival
This is because of you and the money that you have donated.
There is still so much more work to do.
Even thou we have found treatments for BC, there is still a chance it can come back as metastatic cancer. This is cancer that has spread from its original location. It can spread through the bloodstream or lymphatic system, establish new tumors.
There is no cure for metastatic cancer. Susan G Komen is working hard to develop treatments and find a cure, but they can't do it alone.
We need your help.
In the first 2 weeks of April the 3-day community lost two amazing souls to metastatic, I am walking for Mamie and Beth and that one day very soon we will not have to walk
I have already signed up to do two of the four 3-day 60-mile walks......but you all know me. I'll end up adding another one.
I am reaching out to you in hopes that you will help me raise the funds so I can walk.
I have decided to push myself and try and raise $15,000.00
With your help I know this is possible.
I'll do the training.
I'll do the walking.
I'll get the flights.
I just need you to help me get there.
Will you help me?

We are changing people's lives.
We will find a cure.
