Sock Tips

  • Often, blisters are not caused by your shoes, but by socks that are wrinkled, damp or bunched up.
  • Socks should be form-fitting and comfortable.
  • We recommend socks that are made of a synthetic material, or a cotton and synthetic blend. Socks that are 100% cotton retain moisture and also tend to stretch out and lose their shape.
  • As your feet perspire while walking, you should change socks halfway through your walk. It will help prevent blisters and give you that extra boost to keep you going.
