Please support our team as we commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why we know we have to do this. That’s why we are walking and why we are raising money to end breast cancer forever.

Frances, or Kitina as many knew her, was an extraordinary human being. She faced breast cancer twice with unwavering faith and hope. During her journey, Kitina was deeply involved with Susan G. Komen, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for this devastating disease. Even in the midst of her battle, she participated in the 3-Day Walk, once in remission in Clearwater and another time in Philadelphia while bravely fighting the disease. Her very first 3-Day was in Tampa, a city that marked the beginning of her commitment to this cause.
Last year, our family came together in Boston for the 3-Day Walk in her honor. Now, in 2027, as we mark 10 years since we lost her, we will unite once again in Tampa, the city where she lived for many years and where half of our family lives today. This walk is not only about raising funds, it is about carrying forward her legacy, honoring her memory, and fighting for a future without breast cancer.
If she could take on that challenge, so can we. Together, we can make a difference. Join us in reaching our fundraising goal and creating lasting change. Let’s honor Kitina and walk with the same strength and love she showed throughout her life.
