I will always remember the day my sister texted to say she was diagnosed with breast cancer - it was on her birthday in 2023. Our hearts broke for her, but then everyone quickly came together to support her strength and warrior spirit. We are so proud of the way she battled cancer, through chemo, surgery and radiation, and I know she was grateful for the support she received through Susan G. Komen and other organizations. I'm doing the 3-Day Walk with my sister to honor the journey that she took, to give back to this amazing organization who so generously helped her, and to help with ongoing research to end breast cancer forever!
