Wearing PINK at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon
I did this walk in Tampa Bay back in 2010in my mom's memory. Seventeen years later I will be walking to celebrate my being a survivor!
In 2020, I was diagnosed with Paget's on my right nipple. This was not caught by any mammogram-which I had done annually as a promise to my mom before she passed. It was found by my dermatologist who did a biopsy. By the end of that year I was having a lumpectomy followed by radiation. I am now five years cancer free and looking forward to celebrating me and other survivors in Tampa Bay!. So excited to be getting back to Florida for this. I am lucky to be able to celebrate in Tampa Bay not once but twice!
