Working at Susan G. Komen for over a decade has changed my life. Not only because I am so proud of the amazing career that I have built here but because I get to work with and for the most incredible humans. Each person that I've met that has been touched by breast cancer has made a lasting impression on my life. In the last ten years, we have lost some of the strongest fighters that I've ever known and friends have been diagnosed and have come out on the other side but forever changed. After an incredible experience walking 20 miles in Boston in 2025, I have decided to up the game and walk the full 60 miles in 2027. It'll be hard, but it won't be as hard as breast cancer.
