My 3-Day Journey for the Cure
What began as a tribute to my mother-in-law an incredible woman taken too soon by breast cancer has grown into something much bigger. Since her passing, I have also lost a friend, two coworkers, a teammate, and my children lost a beloved art teacher. Too many lives have been touched by this disease, and that is why I walk.
Today, I fundraise not only in their memory, but for a future that looks entirely different for my daughter, for your loved ones, and for generations to come.
We envision a world without breast cancer, a world where a diagnosis doesnt carry fear, where prevention and treatment are accessible to everyone, and where no child grows up missing a parent, grandparent, or friend to this disease.
That?s why I support Susan G. Komen. Komen isnt just a name it is a powerful force in the fight against breast cancer. They invest in groundbreaking research to improve treatments and find a cure. They provide direct patient support helping with everything from transportation to medical care, especially for those facing financial and social barriers. And they advocate for policies that ensure everyone has access to the care they need.
Because of Komen, there is hope. Real hope. Tangible progress. But we aren?t done yet.
I?m walking 60 miles in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day in Tampa 2027 and raising $2,300 to help save lives and bring us closer to the day when breast cancer is a thing of the past.
Thank you for standing with me, walking beside me, and believing in a future free of breast cancer. Thank you for being the hope so many need.
