In January of 2025, I received a diagnosis that changed my life: breast cancer. The journey since then has been filled with challenges, strength, and deep reflection. But through it all, I’ve felt the unwavering support of my family, friends, and especially my sweet husband, Adam.
In November of 2026, Adam and I are walking side by side in the Komen 3-Day Walk in San Diego, inspired by the incredible energy and hope we witnessed at the Denver walk and our friend Jo. We’ve committed ourselves to take on this journey not only as a physical challenge, but also to celebrate my recovery, our fight together and to envision a future without breast cancer.
Every step we take is for the warriors who’ve fought before us, those currently in the fight, and the generations to come. We walk with purpose, with hope, and with the belief that together, we can make a difference.
