Since 2009, I’ve laced up my shoes and walked mile after mile with one mission: to fight breast cancer. Over the years, I’ve walked hundreds of miles, raised more than $125,000, and carried with me the names, faces, and stories of those who inspire me.

But I can’t stop now.

Breast cancer is still touching too many lives — our mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, and loved ones. Every step I take is for the survivors who inspire us, for those in treatment who need our strength, and in memory of those we’ve lost too soon.

Walking 60 miles isn’t easy. The blisters, the sore muscles, and the long hours on the road remind me of the struggles so many face in their fight against breast cancer. And just like them, I keep going — because stopping is not an option.
