Over 2.3 million people are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. I have had many friends and family that were part of that number and I want to help find a way to fix that.  For many years I have empowered myself by walking 100's of miles in various breast cancer walks and runs and have raised thousands of dollars to champion breast cancer awareness. I remain committed to find ways to support this vital cause because it is so important. I have chosen to join team "Boobster and Friends" and participate in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day.  This is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days.

I will be walking with family and friends and we will share this journey with hundreds of others who are also trying to help raise money to find a cure for for this terrible disease.  It will be hard, but not nearly as hard as hearing those 4 words, "you have breast cancer". I am walking in celebration of my health, for women and men who aren't healthy enough to walk, and in honor of those who have lost their battle.  I walk because I am committed to help fight this fight! You are the best support system I could ask for and I hope you consider supporting our team and helping in the fight against breast cancer!  There might not be a cure yet, but there is always HOPE!
