I celebrate another year and feel blessed to say “Yes I am a survivor of 16 years”.  Even though there are a lot of stories on how research has come so far to allow so many survivors we still see friends and family being diagnosed and the evil of metastatic cancer.  Last year we walked in memory for two of our Feet to Beat team members that we lost to metastatic cancer.  We also walked in 35mph winds and rain because the fight is still needed and step by step through walking or supporting a walker you can make a difference. My hope is that 2026 will be again sunny San Diego weather and many more memories and laughter with the best teammates.
