I started this journey in 2007 when I had decided I had enough after
another person in my life heard that scary news "you have breast
cancer." So many people in my life have been diagnosed: my mom,
sister, aunts, good friends, co-workers, it was time to do something!!
Fast forward to 2023 when I also received that scary news but
thankfullyfor me it was caught very early and I am doing well but still
want to accomplish a WORLD WITHOUT BREAST CANCER!! I do not want my
daughter or granddaughter to have to hear those scary words.
I was so thankful that although many family, friends and co-workers have
been diagnosed, they were survivors until 2025. I lost my little
sister, Kathryn to metastatic breast cancer. I still cannot believe I
do not have Kathryn around to take sister trips with or just to be
there. I will not stop walking until a cure is found and we have a
WORLD WITHOUT BREAST CANCER!!
