My 3-Day journey started over 19 years ago when I was asked to walk in the Susan G. Komen Atlanta Breast Cancer 3-Day in 2006? I said No.  I did not think I could find the time to train (and yes you NEED to train) yet walk 60 miles; and HOW would I be able to raise $2,300. Then I watched one of my colleagues who had such a beautiful soul battle breast cancer for the second time.  She had beaten the odds? she was a 5 year survivor.  But then it came back with a vengeance and I watched her fight with courage and faith.   Her death July 10, 2006 changed me both personally and Spiritually.  Ola Mae taught me what real faith and trust in God was.  She also reminded me what my parents had taught me, not to give up before you try.  And so my 3-Day journey began? maybe, just maybe, my journey would Honor Ola while giving strength, courage and a little hope to someone else battling Breast Cancer.  I walked my 1st 3-Day in Atlanta October 2007 and I have walked every year since.  Over the years I have had the pleasure to walk in places like Atlanta, Cleveland, Chicago, Denver, Michigan, Minneapolis/St Paul, New England, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Diego, and Dallas Texas (just to name a few). I have walked with friends and family. I even had the pleasure of my girls joining me. I have been blessed to meet and walk with some wonderful people; some of which I will never forget for they have touch my soul with their stories. 

 I will continue my journey in Denver August 1-3, 2025; but I can?t do it without you.  I need your Spare Change to Change lives.   Also, I need your prayers.  Pray for lives to be touched through my journey and the journeys of others; not just through the money we raise but through our stories, faith, strength and courage.  Together we can bless others in their fight against Breast Cancer.
