Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it's not as hard as breast cancer. It's not as hard as chemo. It's not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It's not as hard as saying goodbye. And that's why I know I have to do this. That's why I'm walking and why I'm raising money – to end breast cancer forever. This will be my 9th walk, though I haven't since Marissa was born. This will be a challenge for me as I'm not in the best of shape these days, but I know my pain is nothing compared to what cancer patients go through.
In August 2026, I'm walking in celebration of my dear friend, Katie Whyte and her 20th anniversary of being a breast cancer survivor! The picture of Katie with my daughter, Marissa is something I didn't know I would ever see. Katie was diagnosed when she was 30 yrs old with no family history and kicked cancers ass but still fears it may someday return. I'm walking and fundraising to help find a cure because I believe Everyone Deserves A Lifetime!
