My sweet friend, Sarah Bova, and I are participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk. In August of 2026, we will be walking 60 miles over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it?s not as hard as breast cancer. It?s not as hard as chemo. It?s not as hard as getting bad news from your latest scan. And it?s not as hard as saying goodbye to the people you love.

This cause hits close to home. Both my grandma and my aunt have received the news every woman dreads to hear. Thankfully, they were fortunate enough to win their battles. Sadly, Sarah's mom wasn?t as lucky. She was taken far too soon from Sarah, her brother, her dad, and all those who knew and loved her.
