In late 2024 two words, breast cancer, changed my life and the lives of those I love. Active treatment was a whirlwind of appointments, procedures, decisions, surgery, radiation, and hormone therapy. It was ugly but I plowed through it. When I walked out of my last radiation treatment I believed the worst was behind me. I never paused to contemplate survivorship and the long term side effects of treatment. I am finding my way back with hope and purpose, choosing to believe a new chapter is waiting for me. Let's make it a long one that begins with a renewed commitment to walk to end breast cancer.

Team GiGi deferred last year's walk to allow time for recovery. Thanks to the support of friends and family we are again preparing to take on Boston. So today I recommit to walk for myself, for those I love, and for others fighting this terrible disease because I can!
