Hey friends,
I wanted to share something really personal with you. I?ve taken on a huge challenge ? I?ve committed to walking 60 miles (yes, 60!) over three days in the Boston Susan G. Komen 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk. It?s all to raise money and awareness for a cause that means the world to me ? helping to end breast cancer.
Breast cancer became part of my story when I was just 39. I went through chemo and radiation, and I?ll never forget turning 40 while completely bald ? not by choice, but because of the toxins that were saving my life. That experience changed me in ways I can?t even describe.
Then, nearly six years ago, cancer came back. I had to have a mastectomy, and that second diagnosis brought its own kind of pain, strength, and healing.
Both times, cancer shaped me ? body, mind, and spirit. It broke me down, but it also built me back up with a deeper appreciation for life, resilience, and hope.
Now, I?m walking for everyone who?s been touched by this disease ? for the moms, daughters, sisters, friends, and even the men who have heard those three awful words: ?You have breast cancer.?
I?m walking because I believe in a future where no one has to go through this.
If you?d like to support me, your donation will help fund research, treatment, and support for those still fighting. Every step and every dollar matter more than you know.
