Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.

Even though I am not a morning person I will get up at 4:00 in the morning to join the other walkers at Opening Ceremonies. Because cancer doesn't rest.

I walk in memory of my Grandma Ruth, Grandpa Kenny, friend Patty, and others that have lost their lives to cancer. Because I don't want their loss to be for nothing.

I walk for my friends, family, and others that have kicked cancers butt. Because cancer can't keep us down. The only thing we can do is fight it.

I walk for those that are fighting for their life. Especially my beautiful, strong, determined niece Brittany that was diagnosed with leukemia on August 9th of 2017. Girl you are so amazing you kicked cancer's butt and came out even stronger. I love you to the moon and back!!! Because we can't take their place or make it just go away.

I walk for my friends recently diagnosed. You are warriors and are going to come out on the other side victorious.

I walk for my DAD, because he is nolonger able to. I know that he will be with me every step along the way shining down on me from heaven. Even as he fought the biggest battle of his life he still spent every day working towards a cure to breast cancer.

I walk to bring awareness and funding to finding a cure for breast cancer. Because I don't want my kids or yours to have to worry about losing someone that they love to Cancer.

Walking 60 miles is hard, but I will keep walking until breast cancer is no longer a threat. I walk because everyone deserves a lifetime.
