Since 2002, I?ve walked hundreds of miles?through sunshine, rain, and even a global pandemic?because breast cancer hasn?t taken a break, and neither will I.  The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile journey over three days, and I?ve committed to doing it again. It?s tough. But not as tough as battling breast cancer. Not as tough as enduring chemo. Not as tough as facing another scan, or hearing the words, ?it?s back.? 

And it?s definitely not as tough as saying goodbye.

Since our first steps together, our team, The Cup Crusaders, has raised over $1.6 million to fight this disease. Along the way, we?ve lost four beloved teammates, two to breast cancer, and two to other forms of cancer. Their absence is a constant reminder of why this mission matters.
