Guess who's back? Back again? It's me! Going to attempt to do a walk again- this one's a bit different. It's 20 miles per day for 3 days! Longer than the Avon Walk but it's more evenly spaced out. The fundraising requirement is a bit higher too- $2300- but I've raised over $1800 for everyone of the Avon Walks I've done so I have faith that I will reach that goal with the help of each and everyone of you. I started doing the walks when my mom was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma. They don't really have a big walk for that. So I figured a cure for one cancer opens the doors for a cure for all cancers. Plus my mom also had breast cancer- did it cause the cholangio? Who knows. So I started walking in honor of my mom, then it turned to in memory of my mom. She loved being an honorary Jiggler! Our biggest supporter during fundraising the first couple years. I miss her terribly! I'm turning 50 a little over a month after this walk. And I'm not dealing with it well at all. So I decided that a walk was the best way to finish out my 40s. So please help me reach my goal so I can participate in memory of my mother - Peggy O
you'll be helping me reach my goal while helping others get the care and treatment they need, and hopefully a cure! Thank you for your time, and support!
