I have said it before and I will say it again. God allowed me to walk this journey so I can help others. I know without a doubt that He is calling me to share my story and help others who face this awful disease. I walked through this trial - cancer diagnosis, 4 surgeries in a year, 9 rounds of chemo, 2 blood transfusions, many side effects, losing my hair, navigating insurance - so I could experience it all and use that knowledge to serve others!
Now I need your help in supporting me as I commit to my next challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. I am walking because I know that God called me to tell my story and this is a way that I can make it very public. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever through the power of our amazing Father!
