As a five-year breast cancer survivor and the mom of three incredible daughters, I know first hand how critical research, early detection, and patient support truly are. My journey has included 12 surgeries—each one a reminder of how long and challenging this fight can be—but today I am healthy, strong, and hopeful because of the progress made possible by organizations like Susan G. Komen. I am walking the 3-Day not only to honor my own story, but to help fund lifesaving research, support those currently in treatment, and push us closer to a cure. I walk with determination and gratitude, fighting for a future where my daughters—and all children—never have to face breast cancer.

I am taking on the Susan G. Komen 3-Day, a 60-mile walk over three days, and I ask for your support. The miles will be hard, but they are nothing compared to facing breast cancer. That reality is why I am walking and raising money—with the hope of ending breast cancer forever.
