As I prepare for my 8th 60-mile walk in four years, your support is crucial. It translates to expedited response times, prolonged lives, and significant strides in discovering cures. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk, spanning 60 miles over the course of 3 days, is challenging (to say the least); however, it pales in comparison to the hardships faced by breast cancer patients. It is less daunting than undergoing chemotherapy, receiving unfavorable scan results, or bidding farewell to loved ones. For these reasons I continue my commitment to fight.
