It's not as hard as chemo. It's not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It's not as hard as saying goodbye. And that's why I know I have to do this. That's why I'm walking and why I'm raising money - to end breast cancer forever.
I started this journey 19 years ago. My friend Tracy was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was only in her 30's. I stayed by her side as she fought through her surgeries and treatments. She lost her fight and became my angel who reminds me to keep working with this foundation to find a cure. My pink family has so many warriors and we all will continue to help find a cure. My dad told me to just keep moving. Move forward to be a part of finding a cure.
