Celebrating 20 Years of Impact

In 2005, a small group of 7 passionate walkers laced up their sneakers with one shared goal: to end breast cancer. From that moment, The Cup Crusaders were born.  What began as a team of a few quickly grew into a powerful movement—over the past 20 years, more than 425 walkers have proudly worn the Cup Crusaders shirt, united in hope, love, and determination. Together, we’ve raised more than $1.6 million toward finding a cure. That’s not just a number—its research funded, lives extended, and hope delivered.

We walk for the survivors, we walk for the fighters, and we walk in memory of four incredible teammates we’ve lost to cancer along the way, two to breast cancer-our beloved Heather Morse and just this past December, Jenny Zliceski who left behind a 22-year old son who just graduated from college and her beautiful daughter Ella,10-years old. The strength and courage we witnessed throughout both of their battles fuel every mile.

This year marks 20 years since our team first stepped onto the 3-Day route. As we look back with pride and ahead with purpose, we still believe—fiercely—that a cure is within reach. But we can’t get there alone.
