Please help me celebrate my 5 year cancer-versary (will be 5 yrs on Nov 16th) by supporting me as I commit to an incredible challenge along with my mom. 

The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.

Together we can make an impact! I am walking these 60 miles again this year to help find a cure so someday, no other mother has to tell her child she has cancer and have them watch her go through treatment. Telling family and friends was hard, but telling my son who was almost 8 and seeing the worry on his face, on the days I looked and felt horrible during treatment was heartbreaking. I don't want to ever have to tell him that the cancer has returned and they don't have a cure. Everyday I hear about a friend in my breast cancer community that has lost the battle leaving behind children, this is a devasting disease that needs a cure.
