This year will be my 3rd year crewing for the Susan G Komen 3-Day in Denver.  I have served as part of the lunch crew all three years.  As some of you know, I also participated as a walker and crew member of the Avon Walk many moons ago when it was 2 days and ~40 miles.  This cause is dear to me.  Although I took a break for quite awhile, I'm back because breast cancer is still here.  We cannot rest.  We all know someone who has heard those words - You have cancer.  I will continue to fight for a cure.

Please support me as I commit to support those walking.  The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. I am part of the lunch crew to feed the folks that are walking.  It is hard work, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I’m crewing and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
