What started as paying honor to the memory of my best friend, Laura McQueen and my sister-in-law, Beverly Hurt Kaaa, whose lives were both taken too soon to breast cancer, has now become a walk because I can and many cannot due to this terrible disease! We need more awareness and more research to help win this battle.

It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this.
