EVERYONE DESERVES A LIFETIME
Unfortunately, breast cancer cut short my aunt Janice's lifetime more than 20 years ago. She did not get to see her daughters get married nor get to hold her grandsons. I walk to honor her memory, her fight, and her strength.
As I embark on my 21st event (10th as a walker), I am amazed at the progress that has been made with breast cancer research, access, and treatments. Had my aunt been diagnosed in 2025, I think her outcome would have been different as it has been for so many women that I celebrate as survivors and thrivers (those living with metastatic breast cancer.)
The list of those continuing to live their lifetimes has only grown as Susan G Komen honors its commitment to a world without breast cancer and we continue to raise money and come together in our pink bubble each year to remember, walk, honor, and unite for this cause.
Please join me in spirit. Your donation means so much to so many!
I am thankful to have Kendal to continue to push me as I walk. This year, we are also excited to have Bennet joining us on the event. He will be there cheering on the walkers as part of the Youth Corps!
