My name is Kim and I’m honored and humbled to be part of Susan B. Komen’s 3-day journey to raise awareness and support for those affected by breast cancer.

This cause is deeply personal to me. Whether it’s a mother, sister, daughter, friend, or colleague — breast cancer touches all of us in some way. I walk not only in memory of those we’ve lost, but in strength and solidarity with the women who continue to fight, and in hope for those who one day may never have to.

I’m here because I believe in the power of community — in what happens when we come together with open hearts, determined spirits, and a shared purpose. I walk for the mothers holding families together through their treatments. I walk for the daughters growing up with strength and courage. I walk for the sisters who never leave each other’s sides, and for the families who love through every moment of the journey.

We are walking for hope, for healing, and for a future where breast cancer is no longer a life-threatening diagnosis. Thank you for being part of this mission with me — your presence, support, and compassion mean more than words can express.
