I am excited for my first year involved in the 3-day walk to end breast cancer in San Diego! My mom and her friends will be walking 60 miles and I will be in the Youth Corps this year, volunteering & cheering.
This means a lot to me because my grandma is a cancer survivor and walked the 60 miles 20 years ago in MN. Hopefully I can be the 3rd generation walker when I am 18!
It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. That is why I want to go to San Diego and support all of the people working and walking for a purpose.
I can’t wait to cheer on and help set up this event, as well as experience the environment. Thank you for donating!
