Come join us on the 3 day Breast Cancer Walk,
We are more than just a team; we are a powerful force united against breast cancer. Every step of this 3-Day journey is fueled by hope, love, and compassion for all those who have battled or been impacted by this devastating diagnosis. I am incredibly grateful to share that I have faced this challenge head-on and am now on the other side of it as a survivor. This journey has been life-changing, and it holds a very special place in my heart. As a woman-owned company, supporting other women in need and raising awareness that breast cancer can affect anyone is more important than ever.
In October 2024, I received a diagnosis of Stage 3 breast cancer. The road ahead was difficult, filled with tests, biopsies, two surgeries, hormone blockers, and daily radiation. However, I am beyond blessed to have a dedicated team of doctors who worked swiftly and with precision, and I am now nearing the end of my treatments and standing on the other side. While I didn’t require chemotherapy, I did lose my left breast, a decision that, although painful, was absolutely worth it to ensure my health and future. The fear of recurrence and distant metastasis still lingers in the back of my mind, but I choose to focus on what I can control—living my life fully and being here to help others.
I’ve learned so much through this journey—most importantly, how crucial it is for women to stay educated and advocate for themselves. No two breast cancers are alike, and many people don’t realize that there are several different types of breast cancer. It's vital for women to understand the signs, stay proactive with their health, and seek the best care. I want to make it my mission to help other women through their own battles, educate those who may not know, and raise awareness about the different forms of breast cancer that exist.
I’m also incredibly grateful that, through it all, I was able to continue working—a privilege that many women battling this disease are unable to experience. But let me tell you, the anxiety of each scan and the constant fear of what it might reveal is real. I know the emotional weight of waiting for those results, and I carry that with me each day. But through it all, I’ve come out stronger, and I am here, ready to support others who are navigating their own journeys.
Now, I’m taking on an incredible challenge: the Susan G. Komen 3-Day, a 60-mile walk spread over three days. It won’t be easy, but every step I take is a tribute to those who have fought, to those we’ve lost, and to those who are still battling. It’s a fight worth walking for.
Please support me in this mission—whether by donating, walking alongside me, or simply sharing this cause. Together, we can make a difference and work toward a future free from breast cancer. Let’s stand together, united, to support each other and help end breast cancer forever.
