A Mother’s Legacy, A Daughter’s Grief 

My mom was the heart of our home—full of life, laughter, and love. Losing her to ovarian cancer left an emptiness I’ll never forget, but her strength and optimism still guide me. More recently, breast cancer has touched my family in a deeply personal way with my sister-in-law’s battle. By the grace of God and the love of so many, she’s doing well—but we know the fight isn’t over.

I’m walking to honor their strength and to help bring an end to breast cancer and all cancers—one step, one mile, one cure at a time.
