I am undertaking this challenge in honor of my mother who lost her 13 year battle with breast cancer at age 63.  I walk to prevent others from having to say goodbye to their parent and in hopes my daughter and granddaughters don't have to fight this terrible battle.  We need a cure and every step, every mile and every dollar raised brings us one step closer.

My family history drives me towards this cause and hope for a cure.  I'll be walking every step praying for a world where we don't lose anyone to breast cancer.
