Dear Friend,

This year, I am taking on an incredible challenge: the Susan G. Komen 3-Day. Over the course of three days, I will walk 60 miles in the fight against breast cancer. It won?t be easy?but it?s nothing compared to the battle faced by those living with breast cancer. It?s not as hard as enduring chemo, waiting for the results of a scan, or hearing the words ?it?s back.? And it?s certainly not as hard as saying goodbye.

For my family, this cause is deeply personal. My mom is a survivor, but heartbreakingly, both my step-sister and my cousin lost their battles. Every time I share that I?m walking, someone else opens up with their own story. We all know someone. We all carry these names and faces in our hearts.

That is why I walk. That is why I raise funds. I believe in a future without breast cancer?and with your support, we can help make that future possible.
