This will be my second 3 day walk. I first looked into 3 day walks when I happened upon one in Chicago. I walked in Denver in 2023. It was the walk of a lifetime.

I walk to save even one person from hearing ‘you have cancer’. Those words brought me to my knees 16 years ago. That was 20 years after my mother heard the same thing. As with all things in my life, I want to make the road easier for the next person.

I know it will be hard. But not as hard as hearing “you have cancer” or surgery day. That was likely the worst day of my life up until that point.

I know I have to do this. And that is why I am raising money. To end breast cancer forever.
