This November, I’ll lace up my shoes once again for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day, 60-mile walk in beautiful San Diego—and I’ll be walking with my wife, Michelle, who is nothing short of a warrior.
Michelle is a 24-year survivor of breast cancer. She faced this disease head-on with the strength, heart, and determination that defines her. If you know Michelle, you know she’s a fighter, fiercely competitive, and above all, passionate—especially when it comes to making sure that others never have to endure what she did. Her loyalty to this cause, and to the people who’ve walked beside us through the years, is unmatched.
We walk not just for her.
We walk for our friends, family, and co-workers—too many of whom have faced the same terrifying diagnosis. And sadly, some are no longer with us. Their memories push us forward. Their names are in our hearts with every step we take.
The 3-Day walk is grueling. 60 miles over three days is no small feat. But it’s nothing compared to what cancer patients endure. That’s why I’m proud to walk again. And I’m asking for your help.
To participate, I must raise at least $2,300. Every dollar goes toward life-saving research, support for those in treatment, and programs that ensure no one walks through breast cancer alone.
If you’re able, I humbly ask you to sponsor me. Your donation—no matter the amount—will help us move closer to a cure, one step at a time.
Together, we can make sure that one day, no one else has to lose someone they love to this disease.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Ted Clay
