In 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024 AND NOW 2025, I did and am doing the Susan G Komen 3-day, 60-mile walk in memory of my sister, Carolyn, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and passed in 2015. In 2021, I was diagnosed with the same triple negative breast cancer. What a shock! But not too surprising as there seems to be a genetic connection. Being a 3 year survivor, some days I still feel like I'm in recovery mode. However, I am ready to take on the 3-Day challenge again!
I am committed more now than ever to support the research necessary to end breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. I am now committed to walk in the SGK 3-day events this year. I believe in the Susan G Komen mission, so I am doing it again and again in Denver & San Diego!
That is 60 miles over 3 days X TWO. 120 Miles in 2025!
Cancer doesn't stop and neither will I.
It will be hard, but it's not as hard as breast cancer. It's not as hard
as chemo. It's not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It's not as hard as saying goodbye. And that's why I know I have to do this. That's why I commit. That's why I walk and raise money
-- to end breast cancer forever.
Please support me as I commit to this incredible challenge.
Everyone deserves a lifetime.
