Nearly every one of us is connected to someone, or IS that someone, who has heard the words no one should ever have to hear: "You have cancer".
I will be celebrating 20 years cancer free this August! I will be walking another 60 miles in San Diego in November to celebrate my 20 years and to help others be able to celebrate being cancer free also! With your help over the years, you and I have raised over $310,000 in the fight against breast cancer. We have helped to make tremendous advances towards defeating breast cancer, but, unfortunately, we're not done yet. The fight is real, and I will continue, with your help, to fight for a cure to help those living with breast cancer. Since 1982, Susan G Komen has funded nearly $1.1 billion in research, more than $2.3 billion in education, screening and treatment, and serving millions in over 60 countries worldwide. Komen won't stop fighting and I won't stop fighting until breast cancer is gone!
