Please support me as I commit to my 8th Susan G. Komen 3-Day, which is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. I walk not only for a cure for breast cancer, but in hopes that if we can find a cure for this terrible disease, we can cure them all! 

I've reached the age where too many friends from high school and college are reporting they have been diagnosed with cancer.  My aunt, uncle, brother-in-law, and 4 cousins have all battled cancer.  Some have been able to beat it, others not.  These are just the people I know of.  We all know someone battling cancer, and there are too many that battle in silence.

That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end cancer forever.
