Please support me as I commit once again to make an impact in the fight to end breast cancer.  This will be my 9th year as a volunteer on Pit Stop 1 and my fourth as Crew Captain.

The Susan G. 3-Day is a 60 mile walk over the course of 3 days. Crew supports the walkers along the way. Seeing and interacting with the survivors, their families and friends and hearing their stories is a deeply moving experience. EVERYONE knows someone who has been impacted by breast cancer and that’s why I do this. It’s hard work but not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo or radiation. And…..it’s not as hard as saying goodbye.

Since 2002 we’ve raised more than $900 million to save lives, support community programs, increase access to care, and make huge strides in breast cancer research, therapies, and cures.  And did you know that Komen played a role in the development of all 19 breast cancer drugs approved by the FDA since 2012?
